Zhiyan “Lyrica” Yin
Founder & Healing Guide
Greetings to you in health, peace, love, and joy.
My name is Zhiyan “Lyrica” Yin. I am the founder of Yin Healing Paths, LLC.
Growing up in rural southern China, I spent my days in the mountains, waking to the sound of my father playing the Chinese fiddle, digging up herbs in the spring, and taking my cow out to graze. Early in my life, I discovered my intuitive need to express myself through dance. The practices of dance, yoga, tai chi, and qi gong, as well as being in and observing nature, molded who I am today. They taught me to seek balance and in turn I found a passion to teach others.
15 years ago, I was struggling with a herniated lumbar disc and was told I could never dance again. After the birth of my second child, my mind and heart were hurting as well as I battled with homesickness and postpartum mental and physical health concerns. I journeyed from doctor to doctor, trying to fix each piece, but the process was more exhausting than healing. At last, I looked back to my childhood and rediscovered the practices and knowledge needed for wholistic healing that already existed within me. I was overjoyed to find that when my mind, body, and spirit were balanced, my inflammation and pain greatly reduced, and I had more space in my heart to cultivate love and peace.
As I continue my own personal healing journey, I have rediscovered the joy and beauty of life and am able to bring myself back into balance whenever I fall. I have discovered my purpose is to share my healing knowledge with others as generously as I can. We always have love within us; however, we sometimes forget this or cannot feel this when we are out of balance.
So, this invitation from my heart is for you. Whatever has led to an imbalance in your own life, whether it be trauma, grief, disconnection, injury, chronic pain, or disease, I want to invite you to feel empowered to find the knowledge you need for your own healing journey. Together, through the practices of mindfulness meditation, movement, breath, I will guide you to unlock your own inner-healing potential.
We will start by understanding who you are, what it is that your body is currently telling you it needs, and what level you are at in your own capacity for healing. From there we will bring balance to each corner of your life. Based on what we learned about your journey, I will help you develop your tools and practices needed for healing found in meditation, tai chi, qi gong, yoga, dance, and will guide you to create your own healing movements. I can also incorporate the movement of vibrations through sound therapy. We use instruments such as crystal singing bowls, tuning fork, and perhaps most powerful, your own voice.
I am excited to join you on your journey.

Byron Yee
Business Manager & Healing Guide
Byron was raised by a mother who was a music teacher and a father who was an engineer. Throughout his education, he was encouraged to pursue both his passion for music, dance, and theatre arts, as well as more “practical” options. He graduated college with a double major in both Theatre Arts and Business Administration, and has continued to find practical applications for both skill sets.
Byron discovered his interest in Tai Chi over a decade ago while living in China on his personal quest to find his roots and learn to speak Chinese. Many years later, after struggling with anxiety and working in several high-stress job environments, he was guided to revisit yoga and Tai Chi, but with an intentional focus on the mindfulness and meditation techniques that are deeply integrated within these practices. When studying acting, Byron developed an awareness of and learned to analyze the emotional and physical feelings of the characters he was portraying. Through his consistent practice of yoga and Tai Chi, he has learned to better acknowledge and accept these feelings – not of fictional characters, but as his true human self. He has also discovered these breathing techniques and fluid movements have helped with his history of sinusitis and asthma.
Byron continues to dive deeper into his Tai Chi and Yoga practice through the study of Ayurveda, and Chinese Traditional Medicine (CTM), and is also learning more about herbal medicine and music therapy.
